For 20 years, the HWCC Business Awards has recognized AAPI businesses and professionals whose work, leadership, and accomplishments are making an impact across Wisconsin.

In 2026, we’re celebrating that milestone with a new Business Awards experience.

A Taste of Success moves beyond the traditional awards banquet to bring together business, food, culture, and recognition in one evening. Guests will experience signature bites from featured Asian-owned culinary businesses, live entertainment and cultural performances, networking, and the presentation of this year’s Business Awards.

The evening will also feature the People’s Choice Best Bite, giving guests the opportunity to discover local food businesses and vote for their favorite bite.

At the heart of the event remains what the Business Awards has always been about: recognizing the people and businesses moving our communities forward.

Five awards will be presented in 2026: Business of the Year, Emerging Small Business of the Year, New Startup Business of the Year, Professional of the Year (Age 40+), and Young Professional of the Year (Age 39 & Under).
